Magaluf holidays have been popular since the 1980s when the resort started to become one of the most popular and Spain. Although it used to have a bad reputation, it has since cleared itself up and is now a popular destination for package holiday makers and it is also family-friendly. But is also a convenient place to get to with frequent flights from London straight to the island of Majorca where the resort is based. It is about 1 1/2 hours to fly from London and the local Airport is barely 15 miles away from of the resort.
The thing that the resort is most famous for is undoubtedly its nightlife, but also its fine weather and its long sandy beaches. Its beaches have even one or number of awards.
There are three beaches in the resort, the longest one being over 1 1/2 miles in length. Although the beaches can be crowded they are large and sandy but there is even a small island called island of the lizards which some tourists enjoy the challenge of swimming to since it is only 200 metres from the shore. There are plenty of activities arranged on the beach, including all kinds of water sports such as scuba diving, snorkelling and boating. The accommodation offered in the resort is plentiful and there is something to suit everyone regardless of your tastes and budget.
If you are interested in finding a cheap holiday to the resort, then one of the best places to start is by searching on the Internet or try visiting one of your local travel agencies. Since it is such a popular tourist destination, you should have no difficulty in finding a good and cheap deal, especially if you find a last minute offer or you go slightly out of season. Just make sure you don’t go too far out of season, since a lot of places simply closed down for the winter on Magaluf holidays.
The island of Majorca also has a lot of other things to offer on your Magaluf holidays, including a number of historic attractions and other places of touristic interest.
